🇬🇧 English was the língua franca at tonight’s joint session with PM PORTUGAL TOASTMASTERS and International Speakers Toastmasters Club Lisbon!
💡 Led with energy and elegance by Edgar Ramos Varela, this session reminded us that great communication is equal parts preparation and heart.
🎤 Nuno Gomes, MBA reminded us that sometimes you can’t make it on your own, Tiago Borralho challenged us to think about who we want to be when nobody is watching, while Irena Hruskova immersed us in an ice-bath experience — three distinct perspectives, one shared goal: to connect and inspire.
💬 Our evaluators Nuno Ricardo, Gustavo Amaro, Rodrigo Capoulas, PMP, CSM, CLP and Ana Teresa Pereira offered thoughtful and encouraging feedback, with Alexandre Daletchine closing the segment with clarity and warmth.
🎲 The Table Topics portion, driven by Julia Uzhva, brought out spontaneous brilliance, reminding us how quick thinking can also be heartfelt.
📚 The Word of the Day — “hashtag#Unveil” — reflected the tone of the evening perfectly, appearing in both prepared and improvised speeches.
🙌 Kudos to our amazing support team: Abdul Amir, Alexandra Sorokina, Juliana Rangel Barbosa, and our always reliable Sergeant-at-Arms Edgar Ramos Varela.
🎯 Each role, each voice, and each story made this meeting one to remember!
